🛑 First, Check the Care Label

Before anything else, read the care label inside your jacket. Most down garments, including Moke styles, are machine washable - but it's always best to double check

Washing Instructions

1. Prep your Vest, Jacket or Coat

- Zip up all zippers

- Fasten snaps or buttons

- Turn the jacket inside out

2. Wash Gently

- Use a cold, gentle cycle

- Add a few extra items to help balance the load

- Use a mild, pH-neutral detergent

- Don't use fabric softeners or bleach - they damage the down

- Set to a delicate or gentle cycle in cold water

DRYING IS KEY

This step is crucial - and it takes time

3. Drying

- Skip the spin cycle, instead gently press out excess water, no twisting or wringing - a wet, clumpy garment at this stage is normal

- Now lay flat on a drying rack to air dry a bit before putting in the dryer

- When mostly dry, toss it in the dryer with a few clean tennis or dryer balls. This helps bring back that fluffy loft

- Check in and fluff as it dries - every so often, pause and give it a little shake to distribute the down

- Once fully dry, give it a final shake and fluff
