Softshell jackets are water resistant and fill the gap between insulation styles and waterproof hardshells. We use 4 way stretch fabric so they offer great movement and breathability. All Moke softshell styles have a durable water repellent treatment to further help guard against wind and rain. This style would offer decent protection against rain keeping you dry in light to moderate rain however, this style is not waterproof. Please also note and keep in mind the Rach has alot of hardware and is more of a fashion style. Functional but fashionable. Not sure if this would get in the way during a game of golf?
I’m looking for a light weight rain coat for overseas travel - so it needs to pack down well and be carried around. I’m an AU size 20 - can you recommend?

Are the zips YKK? Is there protection between the zip and the wearer's clothing on the inside? Are the zips and other hardware nickel-free? I am nickel allergic.
Thanks for your message! Moke zips are not YKK, we have our own supplier. All of our hardware and trims are nickel free and have a very high standard of testing, to meet all health and environmental requirements. The zip on this particular coat is metal, double ended zipper wth a front dome placket, no inside placket.
